Anita Briem was born in Iceland. Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress. She's best known for playing Jane Seymour, the young woman who will become the third queen of Henry VIII on the television series The Tudors. Briem started her acting career acting as an actress in the National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. She participated as a child in numerous radio and television shows, plays and productions throughout Iceland. Briem relocated from Iceland to London at 16 years old where he took part in an opera called Lenin's Love. Briem, then 19, was accepted into at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. The academy was home to her over three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and also won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. At RADA, he performed in numerous plays including The Cherry Garden of Anton Chekhov and Bernarda Alba's House by Federico Garcia Lorca. Following graduation, Briem continued to work at the London theater, taking part in produc
